Al-Ukaz is in pre-launch. The public site is currently a set of informational pages and a form for registering interest in membership. The supplier directory, company accounts and buyer enquiry routing are not yet open.

The complete terms of use, covering membership, listings, liability and dispute resolution, will be published before those open. We would rather say that plainly than publish a document we are not ready to stand behind.

What governs use of this site now

• The platform charter sets out the standard behind verification, what a listing must represent, and what we will not do.
• The privacy notice sets out what we collect when you register interest, why, and how to have it removed.

Using this site

The pages here are provided for information. Figures about Pakistan's export sectors are attributed to their source and dated, and are reproduced in good faith from published reporting and official material — they are not our own statistics, and we do not warrant them. They should not be relied on as the sole basis for a commercial decision.

Registering interest is not an application for membership and does not create one. It records that you would like us to contact you. Whether a company is admitted, and on what terms, is decided through the verification process described in the charter.

The Al-Ukaz name, wordmark and the content of these pages belong to Al-Ukaz. Third-party names, marks and publications referred to on this site belong to their owners and are named only to attribute a source or describe a standard.

Our institutional standing

Al-Ukaz operates under the endorsement of the Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan. That endorsement is of Al-Ukaz as a trade facilitation platform. It is not a guarantee by the Ministry, or by us, of any individual member's goods, conduct or solvency.
